Crimped Wire Wheel Brush Brass
Designed for medium-duty brushing such as derusting, cleaning of weld seams and light deburring work. Brass wire filament brushes are designed for applications like surface finishing on copper or brass workpieces. Compared to steel wire, brass wire is softer and more flexible. For all brushes with brass wire, PFERD uses wire quality CuZn37. Brass wire is temperature-resistant up to 350°F.
Crimped Wire Wheel Brush Medium Face Carbon Steel
Excellent for medium-duty hand-held or automated brushing of large workpieces. Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are ideal for work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications. Steel wire is temperature-resistant up to 600°F. Developed specially for industrial use.
Crimped Wire Wheel Brush Stainless Steel
Designed for cleaning, derusting, smoothing, cleaning of weld seams, light deburring, and removal of corrosion and paint. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life. The wire found in stainless steel (INOX) brushes tends to become magnetic after cold working. All PFERD brush products with stainless steel wire (INOX) are color-coded blue in the Tool Manual. All of these brushes are recommended for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as 316.;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) is temperature-resistant up to 850 °F.
Full Cable Knot Wheel Brush Carbon Steel
Aggressive brush. Designed for heavy-duty brushing in metalwork such as descaling, derusting, deburring, cleaning of weld seams, removal of adhesive residues and spatter.
Standard Twist Knot Wire Wheel Brush Stainless Steel
The brush knots are knotted to 75% of the length. The brush is designed for brushing large areas and for heavy-duty brushwork, such as deburring, cleaning, derusting and descaling, as well as removing spatter.
Stringer Bead Wheel Brush Stainless Steel
Aggressive and robust brush that is able to withstand high mechanical loads. Ideal for heavy-duty brushing in pipeline and container construction. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life.
