PFERD special files are designed for specific uses, such as for processing soft metals and thermosetting plastics, for deburring parts turned on a lathe, or for sharpening cutting tools. Rectangular file with different cuts on three sides. Tanged version with ergonomic file handle. Cross cut 1 on front side for roughing, single cut 2 on back side, and edge for sharpening. Combination of cross cut for coarse roughing and machining on one side and a single cut on the other side for sharpening cutting tools.
