Crimped Wire End Brush Stainless Steel
Designed for light brushing such as deburring, cleaning and derusting. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life. The wire found in stainless steel (INOX) brushes tends to become magnetic after cold working. All PFERD brush products with stainless steel wire (INOX) are color-coded blue in the Tool Manual. All of these brushes are recommended for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as 316.;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) is temperature-resistant up to 850 °F.
Knot Wire End Brush Flared Cup Carbon Steel
Aggressive brush. Designed for medium-duty brushing such as deburring, cleaning, derusting and descaling, as well as removing spatter. Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are ideal for work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications. Steel wire is temperature-resistant up to 600°F.
SINGLETWIST® Knot End Brush Flared Cup Carbon Steel
Innovative and flexible single-knot brush for special applications.
