SINGLETWIST® Knot End Brush Flared Cup Carbon Steel
Innovative and flexible single-knot brush for special applications. Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are ideal for work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications. Steel wire is temperature-resistant up to 600°F.
Square File 8" Coarse Cut with Handle
PFERD's machinist files meet the highest quality standards. They are long lasting and have very good stock removal rates. Square file, tapered and cut on four sides. Tanged version. Designed for filing angular surfaces. Bastard cut for coarse stock removal and roughing. Files come in point-of-sale packaging with ergonomic file handles.
Standard Twist Knot Wire Wheel Brush Stainless Steel
The brush knots are knotted to 75% of the length. The brush is designed for brushing large areas and for heavy-duty brushwork, such as deburring, cleaning, derusting and descaling, as well as removing spatter. Brass wire filament brushes are designed for applications like surface finishing on copper or brass workpieces. Compared to steel wire, brass wire is softer and more flexible. For all brushes with brass wire, PFERD uses wire quality CuZn37. Brass wire is temperature-resistant up to 350°F.
Stringer Bead Wheel Brush Stainless Steel
Aggressive and robust brush that is able to withstand high mechanical loads. Ideal for heavy-duty brushing in pipeline and container construction. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life. The wire found in stainless steel (INOX) brushes tends to become magnetic after cold working. All PFERD brush products with stainless steel wire (INOX) are color-coded blue in the Tool Manual. All of these brushes are recommended for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as 316.;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) is temperature-resistant up to 850 °F.
Three Square File 8" Coarse Cut with Handle
PFERD's machinist files meet the highest quality standards. They are long lasting and have very good stock removal rates. Triangular file, tapered and cut on all three sides. Tanged version. Designed for filing angular surfaces. Bastard cut for coarse stock removal and roughing. Files come in point-of-sale packaging with ergonomic file handles.
Universal Rasp File 8" with Handle
PFERD special files are designed for specific uses, such as for processing soft metals and thermosetting plastics, for deburring parts turned on a lathe, or for sharpening cutting tools. Rectangular file with different cuts on both flat sides. Tanged version with ergonomic file handle. Cross cut 1 on front side for roughing, rasp cut 1 on back side for rasping, and one cut edge. Combination of cross cut on one side and a rasp cut on the other side for coarse roughing and machining. Files come in point-of-sale packaging with ergonomic file handles.
Vitrified Bench Wheel, CARBIDE, Silicon Carbide
PFERD bench grinding wheels have been designed to work with standard bench grinders. CARBIDE type bench grinding wheels are used on hard materials, such as for sharpening tungsten carbide tools.
Vitrified Bench Wheel, UNIVERSAL, Aluminum Oxide
PFERD bench grinding wheels have been designed to work with standard bench grinders. The UNIVERSAL type is ideal for general workshop use.
Welders Toothbrush 3x7 Rows Stainless Steel Wire Wooden Block
PFERD offers an extensive range of scratch brushes in various shapes and filament materials. Ideal for cleaning spark plugs, small workpieces and tools. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life.
