HSSG twist drill bit set STEEL
This set contains 21 HSS spiral drills, excellent for industrial use on steel and other key materials. The drills are HSSG (M2) and come in a heavy-duty blue plastic case that protects against dirt and damage.Special featuresVery good chip removal.High concentricity.Exact centering and low feed force thanks to cross grinding.Designed for universal use on steel, cast steel, grey cast iron, annealed cast iron, bronze, brass, aluminum.Easy centering.Durable.Recommendations for useWhen drilling metals, use a high-quality cutting oil or cooling lubricant, if possible. This facilitates smooth running and extends the drill service life. Exception: when working on aluminum, use kerosene instead of cutting oil.Observe the recommended rotational speed.Workpiece materialsAluminumAnnealed cast ironBlack annealed cast iron (GTS, GJMB)BrassBronzeCase-hardened steelsCast ironCast steelCasting scaleChipboardCopperDuctile cast ironElastomersFibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CRP)Fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CRP) with a fibre content > 40 %Fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CRP) with a fibre content ≤ 40 %Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS)Hard non-ferrous metalHardwoodOtherOther non-ferrous metalsPlasticsRoller-bearing and ball-bearing steelsSoft non-ferrous metalSoft titanium alloys (tensile strength 500 N/mm²)Soft woodSteelSteel, cast steelSteels over 220 HV (> 95 HB)Steels up to 220 HV (< 95 HB)Steels up to 370 HV (< 38 HRC)ThermoplasticsThermosetting plasticsTitaniumTitanium alloysTool steelsWhite annealed cast iron (GTW, GJMW)WoodZincCompatible power toolsColumn drillPower drillRobotStationary machines

RPM12000 RPMPack Qty10Excellent for medium-duty brushing such as deburring, cleaning, and removal of heat discoloration. In addition to brushes with a stainless steel filament, PFERD also offers brushes of the INOX-TOTAL type for work on stainless steel (INOX). It is particularly well suited to use in critical environments. In order to fulfill the requirements for brushing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD produces all stainless steel (INOX) brushes using 302 stainless steel wire. Practical experience gained from industrial use confirms that this wire quality achieves excellent corrosion resistance with optimum brush life. The wire found in stainless steel (INOX) brushes tends to become magnetic after cold working. All PFERD brush products with stainless steel wire (INOX) are color-coded blue in the Tool Manual. All of these brushes are recommended for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as 316.;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) is temperature-resistant up to 850 °F.AdvantagesThe brush is degreased and does not leave any oil residue on the workpiece.Maximum protection against corrosion as all components are produced from stainless steel (INOX) of quality 1.4310 (V2A).Highly flexible, enabling optimal adaptation to the workpiece contour.Ideal for cleaning narrow or hard-to-reach areas such as grooves, fillets, and inside edges.Very corrosion-resistant.Creates fine surfaces.ApplicationsCleaningDeburringDerustingRemoving heat discolourationRemoving oxide layersPaint strippingRougheningMaterials that can be workedSoft titanium alloys (tensile strength 500 N/mm²)Stainless steel (INOX)TitaniumTitanium alloysAluminumBronzeCobalt-based alloysHard non-ferrous metalHigh-temperature-resistant materialsNickel-based alloys (e.g. Inconell and Hastelloy)Drive TypesFlexible shaft drivePower drillStraight grinderSafetyWhen clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. With the BOSCH X-LOCK system for angle grinders, you can change discs quickly and comfortably. Instead of a round center hole, the X-LOCK system features an X-shaped contour, which allows the disc to be fixed on the angle grinder in a form-fitting manner. This guarantees that different discs can be mounted securely and comfortably in the shortest possible time. The unique system meets the highest quality and safety standards and even withstands tough and challenging operating conditions. X-LOCK from Bosch is the world's first quick-changing system for angle grinders: Position the tool in the X-LOCK holder, click it into place – and you're ready! It's never been so easy to change accessories on angle grinders. X-LOCK is creating a new standard which makes professionals’ lives easier and increases their productivity. Bosch Power Tools relies on strong partners like PFERD. PFERD has developed the principle for connecting the X-LOCK punched part with the bonded abrasive, flap discs and brushes and created the conditions to enable them to be produced industrially. RPM20000 RPMPack Qty5The brush knots are knotted to 50% of the length. The brush achieves a better surface quality on uneven surfaces when compared to knotted brushes. Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are ideal for work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications. Steel wire is temperature-resistant up to 600°F.AdvantagesDouble-row design enables fast results due to larger filament width.Optimal ratio of aggressiveness and flexibility.Long service life through use of PFERD special wire.ApplicationsCleaningDeburringDerustingDescalingRemoving oxide layersPaint strippingRoot seam processingWork on weld seamsWork on fillet weldsMaterials that can be workedSteel, cast steelSteel materials with a hardness > 54 HRCSteels up to 370 HV (< 38 HRC)Cast ironCast steel
